It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our school website! The purpose of this website is to provide parents and carers with the relevant information about our school and to give a clear understanding of what the staff and I are endeavouring to provide for your child/ren.

At Ysgol Gellifor we aim to provide a happy, caring and secure environment in which each child will develop their skills and talents to the full. Every child is special and entitled to the kind of teaching which will not only develop that sense of individuality but also sensitivity to the needs of others. In providing a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum we ensure all aspects of a child’s development are encouraged and stimulated, providing not only for the intellectual development but also for social, emotional and physical growth.

We welcome and encourage partnership between staff and parents in the education of the children. An effective partnership between parents and the school contributes to the children's learning, helping parents to understand and support the work of the school. We actively foster an atmosphere of openness and honesty. You will always be welcome at the school and as parents you are invited to participate fully in school life.
