WW1 - 3D Tunnel Books

 

Dosbarth 2 learned the art of papercutting in their Thema lesson today to create their own 3D tunnel book.

Tunnel books date back to the 18th century and were inspired by theatre sets.

Each layer of the book comes together to make a three-dimensional scene.

They are often used to tell a story or commemorate a moment in history. So, Dosbarth 2 chose to commemorate the soldiers and animals of WW1.
