Welcome to Dosbarth 2, which is made up of 20 dynamic Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, and Year 6 children. Our class teacher is Mrs. Brookes-Jones, and our teaching assistants are Auntie Tracy and Auntie Sue. Every Wednesday morning, Mrs Robson teaches us Maths and Language as well as some Topic work.

On our class webpage you will find lots of useful information and updates, so please take a look. As well as our class webpage, updates and photos will also be posted on our Class Seesaw regularly.

Important Information

Routines

• Maths Homework will be given to your child on a Monday in their Maths Homework book and must be in by the following Monday.
• Task Homework will be given to your child every other Monday in their Task Homework book, and they will have 2 weeks to complete it before the next Task is given.
• New Spelling words will be given on Fridays after the spelling and times tables tests to be tested the following Friday. Children are able to practice these as often as they like at home. They can also log on to Spelling Frame at home as well as in school.                 
• Please encourage your child to change their reading book as soon as they have finished it.                                                                           

How you can help:

• Supporting your child to read regularly.                                 
• Helping your child to learn their spellings and times tables. Encourage them to access Spelling Frame and Prodigy Maths at home.
• Making sure that your child has their P.E. kit in school on the correct day to ensure participation.
