Starting school is a vitally important time for you and your child.
At Ysgol Gellifor we aim to work together to make the transition smooth and rewarding.
Children are admitted to our Nursery class in September following their third birthday.
New parents are welcome to visit the school and meet with the staff and this is actively encouraged. If you would like to visit the school, please feel free to book an appointment. Parents who wish their children to be admitted to our school at any other stage, are always welcome. Please contact the Headteacher for further information.
The admission of pupils to Ysgol Gellifor is carried out in conjunction with the LEA as admitting authority, information regarding Admissions policy and procedures can be discussed in full with the Headteacher.
Deadlines for applications for places in nursery, reception and Year 3 vary and are set by Denbighshire County Council.

Transfer to secondary school
A good relationship exists between our school and all high schools within the area. This includes pupil visits, open days, pre-transfer visits etc. Please contact the Headteacher for further information.
