For World Book Day this year, the Juniors and the Infants decided they wanted to work together to explore traditional tales from the local area.
One Year 5 pupil, wanted to read out one of her favourite local traditional tales to everyone. The children then went on to draw their own characters for a new tale they will write together, before presenting it to parents and the community.
The children also listened to some traditional local folklore stories and drew characters after listening to the descriptions. We look forward to sharing the new tales with you all!

Lots of fun in all the classes today for World Book Day. The Infant children used an app called Chatterpix to bring characters to life and the Juniors worked on Charlie and the Chocolate factory after watching the film as part of their Chocolate topic.
