Auction of Promises.

We are excited to announce that Ysgol Gellifor PTA are organising a fund-raising dinner at the White Horse, Hendrerwydd, where there will be a set 3 course meal for £30 and a silent auction on Friday 19th April from 7pm. There are so many amazing prizes to be won.

Booking will be via the White Horse pub on a first come first served basis.

👒Easter Bonnet Competition👒

Well done to everyone who designed and made their beautiful Easter bonnets for the competition today.

Thank you to Jack, from Excell, for having the hard task of having to pick out winners - they were all incredible!

Diolch to the PTA for kindly donating all the delicious chocolate prizes and Easter bags for our Easter egg hunt too.

🎄Ysgol Gellifor Christmas Fair🎄

We want to thank our amazing PTA who organised this year's Christmas Fair again. There were so many stalls filled with beautiful crafts and the children made some fun games for everyone to play.

Well done and thank you to Ysgol Gellifor school choir for singing so beautifully during the fair.

Thank you to the main man in red who made a special appearance!

Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful donations we had for the Christmas raffle too!

🎃Halloween Disco🎃

Thank you to our brilliant PTA for organising such a 'fang'tastic disco for all the children today.

There was lots of dancing, games, competitions, treats, and excitement throughout the afternoon.

Our PTA wants to say a HUGE 'Thank You' for all the fundraising and support you have shown us over the year! We couldn't do our fundraising without the wonderful support from our parents, friends, families and the community.
During our Christmas Fair and Christmas Play Ysgol Gellifor PTA have raised an incredible £850 which will help the school to continue to provide the children with those little extras.
Thank You again you wonderful lot!

There will be a PTA meeting in Dosbarth 2 (Mrs. Brookes-Jones’s class) on Friday afternoon starting at 3.15pm to continue the organisation of our Christmas Fair.

Please come along on Friday and join us if you can – We will make sure there is a cuppa and biscuits on offer for you too!

Ysgol Gellifor's PTA

As a parent or carer at Ysgol Gellifor you are automatically invited to be a member of the PTA, a group of parents, carers and school staff working together to provide activities, events, equipment and resources for the whole school community. 

There are lots of ways you can help out, which can involve as much or as little time as you can spare. Some PTA activities do not cost anything except volunteer hours: we are always looking for help with our social events.  Other PTA projects require funding and with your support we work closely with the school to ensure that we raise funds to provide something the school wants and needs to improve the learning environment or resources. 

Every event you attend with your family, every raffle ticket you buy or sell to members of your family or neighbours, every cake you bake, every minute you give up to help on a stall or social event, all make a difference to our children.

So, if you have some time to spare, we would love to meet you. If you have any ideas for fundraising or would like to speak to a committee member about helping with events, please come and find us at the school gate.
